Meal Prep – Week 3

This is a week late, but we have decided to still post because we want to be held accountable for this program! We are currently in week 4, which I can’t believe we have almost finished a month. Despite our ‘cheat days/falling off the wagon’ I am proud that we go back to this clean healthy eating; life isn’t perfect, stress is a bitch and all we can do is get through it as healthy and mindful as possible!

My thought on last week – Do I like vegetables? I thought I did, but at this point I am feeling like I’m hitting veggie overload. I have also realized I have no idea other than roasting, how to cook a vegetable (so if anyone has any great ideas please comment below because this is getting rough). As you can see the picture above is not nearly enough food, but that is because we knew we had specific days that we were dining out (Mother’s Day, work events, and birthday dinners). Despite the feeling of failure as a chef, this Tone it Up series is going well! I am feeling less bloated, and motivated to keep a consistent workout schedule.

Unlike Missy, Tone It Up is not going well for me. Mostly because other than what we prep (which is not enough for a full week’s amount of food), I eat like garbage. So it doesn’t really count? For me, what I need is some sort of Motivator. Because I won’t eat healthy unless forced to, and it’s becoming a pretty bad habit. How do you get your motivation going? I would love some ideas, because I am LEGIT struggling with wanting to workout and eat healthy. Even with swimsuit season coming up…
