So, hopefully if you’re reading this you know that the first weekend in May is Free Comic Book Day!

It’s one of my favorite weekends of the year, and this year followed the vein of pretty awesome. in addition to a beautiful Saturday (see our earlier post), I got some goodies.

In addition to grabbing a few of the free books (only the ones that caught my fancy, not all of them!), I picked up the latest Buffy from Boom (two copies for the variant covers I liked) and a Saga TPB (albeit one I already had! If anyone needs #6, lmk, I have two).

I also got a game for my mom for Mother’s day and supported my favorite small business.

I love living near a thriving mini downtown are with restaurants and shops. It’s so cool to know I am supporting my neighborhood shops, especially during Small Business Month! So, even though I got a few free comics, I also bought a few and have made plans to keep going back. Comic/game shops are my weakness 🙂
